I used to cut and/or color my hair every 3-4 months
when I had short hair as I get sick of the same look very fast.
I have been keeping my hair long since UATO days
& maintaining long silky healthy hair is ridiculously troublesome / tedious.
---
Anyways, after shooting hair commercial 2 months ago,
I reckon that no other hair brand will use me for least a year.
(Airtime/ loading period for Asciene is till June this year....)
I'm tired of my safe, tidy & "boring" style actually...
I'm so tempted to just chop off everything!
Save water, shampoo & tonnes of money on hair spa!
+
B kept saying I need a trim after I just had a trim last month...!
B kept saying I need a trim after I just had a trim last month...!
Since I'm going to the hair salon, (not for hair treatment) again,
I have decided to make a drastic change.
Note: both the stylist & I were kinda confused why B
thinks my hair is messy when my hair length is uniform & very straight...
---
I told Anneth that I want to wake up daily & not have
to go through the agony of styling my hair.
*that's my only condition.
She smiled & thought real hard before she say anything...
After analysing my hair condition + my face,
she decided that I need to have short bangs, snip off some weight
at the back + also touch up my hair color.
---
Then Jason (Chief Technician) came over to see what color suits me.
He suggested that I should perm my hair to see a huge change,
besides adding a darker color to tone down my color.
I was thinking of only layering & perming my hair when it's waist length...
But since I'm at the salon already, why not?
Let's not talk so much, just do it!
If the professionals think it's time & I can carry off the style,
I guess I have to give them some faith...
---
If the hair was badly done & I don't get positive feedbacks,
I can always cut my hair away & let it grow again.
Right?
Afterwhich I was transferred to another area to get my pre perm treatment.
Both Anneth & Jason realised that I kept taking photos of myself.
I was kinda embarassed to be spotted cam-whoring!
I let my sister use my camera so I just have to make do with my phone...

After the heating for curls, my hair was transferred to those cheap plastic curlers to let it cool down. Before I'm set, I still have to do a post perm treatment to keep my locks nutritious.
The whole perming process took me almost 3 hours! I was dying from waiting...
I didn't expect to be stuck at the salon for so long when I was only mentally prepared to trim my hair, which usually takes less than 1.5hrs!
I reached the place at 6.30pm & only left at almost 11pm!!!
They couldn't do coloring on the same day as they have to release their staff.
---
I wanted to pee so badly when waiting to get my hair blown dry!
I'm not showing how it looks like when my hair are let down cos' I needed some time to adjust to my new look + the curls will be prettier after a few days. My hair still smell of the conditioner they used before/after blowing dry my hair. B likes it too. I'll get a bottle of whatever they used on next trip back for after chemical service & coloring!

Keen to know the damage?
Director's cut: $85
Ceramic perm: $350
Pre+post chemical treatment + using Jason: $$80
Total+7%GST: $515.05

I'm kinda stress to show the world my hair...
What if most people don't like it?
Should I just carry the style confidently no matter how?
I think like it tho...
The texture & curls made things easier to style as compared to soft sliky straight hair...
