Singapore Expo

Work starts at 7.30am today!

OMG...

I was on my way to Expo, supposed to pick up a few colleagues.
In the end direction given by Fiona was wrong.
Instead of Bedok, I ended up in Tampines!!

I was pretty mad at 1st cos' it's EARLY in the morning.

+ I had to call & wake B up so he can directs me to Expo.

I didn't have an extra minute to figure way out on the street directory to Expo...

My pass without my name on the card.
The admin side/ organiser was quite a mess...

Maryanne was very sweet.

No one else besides me had the complimentary tickets for parking.
I never met/ spoken her prior to the event.

Maybe I smiled at her?

I couldn't bring myself to be mad at them.
Instead of sulking, I decided to have a good laugh of myself.
For being a road idiot.
I'm glad least I can drive, just need GPS for July.
You know what to do already?

Sempang Bedok Food Market

No one is going to step in before 11.30am.

We headed out for breakfast...
It was super sinful isn't it?

I ordered my favourites. 1 cheese & 1 egg!

If I was hungry, I would also order a plain or paper prata...

Basically, after spending 10hours over 2 days at the exhibition.

I still have no idea why are we doing there.

Many guests couldn't make it from around the world due to swine flu.

Thus, we sat there most of the time talking to other delegates

For me?

I'm always walking around to wait for breakfast/ lunch to be served.

Hahaha!

Swissotel Stamford

We sponsored French wines for the Gala Dinner.

Still,

We brought bottles of Cos d'Estournel 2000 & 2002 each for our own consumption,

which easily amounts to 500bucks.

How generous is Mr. Chin!

We made an effort to dress uo for the event,
cos' it was supposed to be a black tie formal dinner.
But...

I'm not racist but I have a issue with Indian food.
Gala dinner eating Indian buffet?????

I had a total culture shock.

I don't really take meats or appreciates the strong aroma from the spices.

I'm sorry.

I really felt miserable.

None of us are "allowed" to go home after the dinner.

As much as I enjoy nightlife, I really don't want to stay on for the "party".
I can hear/ smell my bed since 5pm!!
It was only till 10hours later, @ 5am I get to hit the sack.
I'm thankful that my boss is human.

All of us can walk in office at 10.30am the next day.
