Sunny Day
---
Gab was scheduled to pick us up @ 12pm after our swim & hotel breakfast for lunch.
He kept calling but no one answered.
he knew we must have overslept, so he made us home cook food to bite before embarking on our journey.
Isn't he so sweet?
Every car that pass through the entrance gate are to be check & all hotel guests/ visitors have to go through the scanning gate!
It made me feel like I was going through custom check each time I return to hotel.
---
Taman Anggrek...
And yeah,
this is the biggest mall in the north east of jakarta,
where all the RICH indonesian shops....
Price is the same there...
This mall is so HUGE that it contains an open-air-see-through ice skating rink!
We had late breakfast, so we weren't exactly hungry for lunch.
We decided dinner was gonna be super good, so we skipped proper lunch, just had A&W for tea break.
---
Heartlander's Mall called ITC Mangga Dua...
After spending 2 hrs at the shopping heartlander's shopping mall, I feel like crying & wanted to leave asap!!!
They kept staring at Mega & I, thinking all Chinese are rich.
The trip was stressful & unfruitful, cos' I didn't manage to get anything concrete.
Don't even think about bargaining cos' I can't speak Berhasa.
Waiting along the main road ffor our driver was scary too,
cos' the cab drivers all want to do our business & Mega says it can be a little dangerous cos' we don't look local at all.
I have a admit I was a bit traumatised tho...
---
@ Kelapa Gading.
Food street, something like our Geylang eating place, minus the 'chicks'.....
Nasi Uduk (s'thing like nasi lemak) &
Roti Bakar Coklat Keju (toasted bread filled w chocolate/ banana/ cheese) for dinner.
This is really really good!
I can't stop thinking about the rice & chilli...!
---
Otw back to Gabriel's home cum office,
to let Mega & Gab take a quick change...
Giant Forever Friend bear...!!!
---
Hotel Mulia- My room!!!
My turn to take a long hot bath after a long day....
I spend almost 2 hrs on the bathroom...
& the funny thing is, the bar that we're heading, is located at our hotel.
ahahhaaha...!
Cj's Bar has a really good live band,
which does a mixture Eng. r&b, rock, salsa & indo. pop songs...
Jasmine (guy in stripe) tried to hit on Borg.
OMG...!
Other than that, we were happy with our drinks & fingerfood...
If you would like to know how much to expect to spend in Indo.
There it is...
Club (e.g.: X2, Red Square): Entrance fees is about 100,000rupiah ($12SGD) , which you're entitled to a drink of ya choice.
To open a bottle of Chivas at Cj's, that cost 2mil rupiah ($240SGD)...
I was expecting things to be much cheaper in Jakarta...!!
