Wrong choice of words

With the aid of cell phone directory, digital organiser, online phone book, etc, we tend to rely 80-99% on them for contact numbers. I'm one of those who feels totally handicapped without my mobile phone with me as it tells me the time, contains most if not all of my to-do info; most important, my main source of connection to the rest of the world.
As much as I'm dependent on my little gadget, I make it a point to remember numbers. Simple reason, what if I lost my cell phone & I desperately needed to get to them?

Although I'm super reliant on my little gadget, I still get seriously pissed at people who can't even take the little effort to memorise numbers of considerable importance!

Okay, now tell me if I have a case...

1300: (mmr) I was dumb enough to sat on my cell phone & broke my LCD screen, now I can't see who's calling me. I'll get back to you this evening I'm back from work, okay?

2030: (xris) *Still no news from mmr, staring blankly at the clock, wondering is everything alright or he's working overtime...

2045:(xris) *Decided to try finding out if he's till in the company from his colleagues but only realises mmr left the office around 6-7pm.

2100: (xris) *Knowing his plans for the night (catching a stage play), & probably forgotten abt her, she texted mmr leaving a note saying she's out & get back to her when he sees the msg...

2115-2200: Mmr sent out text messages to xris, explaning he didn't have her numbers on his spare phone & had to wait for their mutual friend to get back to him...

2215: Xris decided it was rude to keep using her cell phone over dinner with friends. so she told mmr that they can talk about it later when she's home. Matter of fact, she doesn't want to discuss any topic when she's upset. She bet mmr knew.

2230: Mmr called & tried to explain via words now.
She was supposed to only end class by 9.30pm so he see no point calling her anytime earlier + he wasn't too sure how to use text messaging function on his spare phone.
*In xris's mind, she'll be an idiot for accepting the 3rd reason cos mmr can/ should call, earlier, right?

0015: GOSH, it so affected xris's appetite that evening. She was out with friends for dinner & drinks but had totally no mood for anything. So, she called it a day & went home.
It's better to get the issue off her chest.

0100: The 4th reason that mmr gave was that when he was about to part with his colleague, the guy was using his cell so he didn't borrow to give me a call.

0130: Knowing he was tired from work so xris decided to let it go even thought it still bothered her, since it's a trival matter (to mmr).

2 days later:
(*xris & mmr touched on the issue again.)
mmr: I was really beat from work last Friday, unlike you had enough beauty rest & so full of energy to be unreasonable at night.

xris: I was being worried that something bad might happen to you & since you promised to call when you are home in the evening!

mmr: Haha, okay, I shall write up a big poster of ya numbers & paste it on my walls & at office, just in case, alright?

xris: (shocked, dumbfounded & totally disappointed...)

-End of case-
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Call me petty or pathetic if you like, but this is totally unacceptable! How can he calls me unreasonable?!
Unreasonable is not listening to any form of explaination & demanding a end result that is unattainable. I didn't even start a quarel or ask for apology, have I not been gracious enough?
Unreasonable is accusing him of things that he didn't do or force words into his mouth...
Unreasonable is when i start kicking a big fuss over a small issue, crying & screaming in the middle of the night.
Unreasonble is not respecting differences in thinking/ reaction!
I'll go crazy when someone say I'm unreasonable.
I always thought you would understand my way of thinking but I'm SO wrong...
Seriously, there's no way we can communicate.
I did my best, in a language I can't really manipulate.
I know what's missing finally...
We all judge people based on our own perception.
Time's proven the longer we are together, the lesser we know what's on each other's mind.
I only lived once, why should I not end each day smiling?
