The Famous 5!

It's not difficult to guess who's the 5th character yeah? What's the best thing to do after dinner? Movies or have a drink somewhere? Oh well, Ms Tang has watched most of the movies showing now & Gavrill will fall asleep if we do catch a show. So, i suggested Clarke Quay. We can either have a drink or ice cream. Better still, just "disappear" amongst the crowd.

It was quite difficult to get a taxi at 10pm in town, everywhere has long queues for taxi and we can't wait. Haha... So, we took a stroll walking down Orchard road while looking out for the shortest taxi queues.

Our 1st choice was China One, where the guys shoot their VT before. As we walked up the stairs, we saw the bouncers having a heated argument which leads to a fight with a couple of guys, so we quickly turn our heads & leave the place. Silly Tang still want to stay on & watch the "show". OMG!!!

2nd choice was a bar bistro (I can't remember the name of the place) which has live band that play latin/ uban/ salsa/ jazz music. Personally i would have chose that place cos I like that sort of music but the guys think it's too "quiet", so we moved on...

Lastly, we ended up outside The Arena. There's quite a number of outside the club & it looked pretty good from the exterior. Gavrill & I realised there are many Malays enterting. To me, it means the music will be great too. I was right, r&b music!!! They have live band too, and I love the songs that they sang. Lotsa rap, r&b and groovy numbers. The best deal is, ladies has free flow of house pours all night! Heehee...

Just as i thought we could "disappear" amongst the crowd, Ys & I got pointed out the club entrance while we took a few seconds of fresh air. 1 of the 2 ladies said “你们是唯我独尊的参赛者hor” & she made sort of a wing/fly hand gesture. I paused for a second & ponder why. Then i realised, 唯我独尊 symbol/ logo has wings around it. Haha! Have you noticed? I just did. So we took a few photos and went back into the club to look for Gavrill & Qian. Just as we thought we could perform some "magic", people sitting next to ours figured out who we were shortly. Thank God, they are pretty cool guys. We had a few drinks together and pretty nice short conversations from time to time.

Qian was so amazed by the way transvestite behaved at clubs that she kept laughing & saying "wah lau-s!"Okay, there were 4 of them standing right infront of our table (not the super pretty ones unfortunately...), doing the flirting, smooching, drity dancing. One of the "girls" kept shaking her boobies till her tube dress slipped down, exposing her nipples & she kept doing the same thing. No wonder Qian was dumb founded. Haha!

After Gavie & Ys realised we were practically sitting down staring at them for free show (& Qian's jaws dropping), they started to imitate the "girls", dancing & doing a strip tease (just removing their belts & unbutton their shirts, lah! LOL...). I couldn't stop laughing at them, cos 2 big boys bahaved like kids! Actually that's why i like to hang out with them. They are really fun to be with & entertaining at the same time.

Time always passes fast when we are having real fun with good company.. time to send Qian home before Daddy Tang calls me. For me, the night is still young... change of location, i continued with wine & some more solemn talks with friends... Looks like everyone likes to ask me this. If i had to choose, career or love life comes 1st. Can't we strike a balance in between? I always thought I needed to choose one, but somehow I don't think this way anymore. Maybe I'm being optimistic, I'm sure things can work it out when I meet the right one. Nothing is impossible! My golden rule: If you don't try, you'll never know. Now with my cabin crew path down the drain, I was asked to consider to fall back to teaching, since it's something i planned to do anyways. Get a teaching degree from NIE since the deal is quite attractive. To be honest, at this point I'm not too sure if this is the route I wanna move towards, yet. I hate to choose, cos' I'll never be sure of what i want. Looks like my 选择恐惧症 is getting worse...
