So near yet so far...

9.00am: I had to force myself out of my cosy bed to get ready for rehearsals. While preparing and packing my stuff for the day, mom keep nagging to ensure that I eat my breakfast & bring water along to MDC.

10.30am: Got into the cab with mommy, she decided to drop me off 1st before moving on to her destination.

10.45am: Mommy was narrating a real life story that happened in Sichuan province to me on the journey, which made me tear. I was utterly moved by the actions of the victim. Before I alighted, she said, "萍，妈妈决定今晚把一部份的钱拿去帮中国四川的灾民。你就凭自己的实力比赛吧。" I was almost about to scream of cos'! Please do so! But I have yet to recover from the mixed feelings I had hearing the true life case she mentioned earlier. I just nodded & said okay and bye...

11.15am: I was changed and ready for Zaki's parade run through. Only Qiuting was here when i reached. So we had a brief chat about the competition thus far. It was always easy to talk to her even though she's a few years younger than I.

11.45am: All the crazy rehearsals starts... & I'm coughing like mad... Thank God for the invention of ventolin inhaler..

5.30pm: We were finally released for styling, makeup & dinner. Joan and Andy were encouraging me when dolling me up. I have been sick for quite some time, and I know no matter what I had to do my best on stage tonight cos' the previous theme I showed that I was tired on screen. Hence, no matter what I'll have to "act" that I'm cool tonight.

7.30pm: I think with the right attitude and mind set, it'll be so much easier to pull through an act. Even Genecia & Jansen thought I look good & no signs of illness on my face. Probably it was all concealed behind the makeup. Heehee!

8pm: The last thematic competition starts... I'm not sure why but this time round, I wasn't as nervous as compared to the previous rounds.

8.30pm: I was at backstage counselling Germs. Hope she's alright by now...

9pm: Woah! It's finally over!!! Congratulations my dearest sis, Shi Ying!!! *Huggies*

9.15pm: Back to backstage, busy replying calls/ smses & getting changed. Interviews with the press... Finally i felt i can breathe afterwhich...

9.45pm: Proceed to meeting room, where everything returns to a cycle...
