(Good) Morning Glory

1st thing that came to my thought after watching the movie..

Morning Glory is a name of a plant. Most morning glory flowers curl up and close during the warm parts of the day, and are fully open in the morning, thus their name.

Cast:

Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Patrick Wilson, Jeff Goldblum.

There was a dialogue between Becky & her mom when she got lay off from local news programme. Mom was trying to convince Becky that she shouldn't continue doing what Becky believes in.

"...When you are 8, it's adorable.

When you are 18, it's inspiring.

When you are 28, it's embarassing..."

*Since when it's wrong to believe in our dream & work towards it? I'm glad that Becky did everything she could and achieve what she's meant to be. *sings* There can be miracle when we believe... Hahaha!

Dedicated TV producer Becky Fuller has problem with her love life as she can't stop working. Chance upon AP job at "Daybreak", Becky decides to revitalize the show by bringing on legendary TV anchor Mike Pomeroy (Harrison). Unfortunately, Pomeroy refuses to cover news that are deem as garbage to him – let alone work with his co-host, Colleen Peck (Keaton), a former Arizona beauty queen . As Mike and Colleen battle, Becky's blossoming love affair with fellow producer, Adam Bennett (Wilson) begins to unravel. See how Becky fought hard to salvage the dying TV team and bring work, life balance to everyone, including hers.

It is a perfect sit-back-and-relax movie and expect a few super hilarious moments. (I laughed so loud I thought the whole cinema could hear me!) I thought Harrison look kinda gorgeous (still) in the show & Rachel's acting improved tremendously? I was totally immersed in the story line and enjoyed the show. I love romance comedies that are engaging.

At the end of the film, Becky (McAdams) did bring "glory" to 8am Daybreak, which perfectly fitted the title of the show! It's worth a 6.5 (or 7max) /10 popcorn... Thanks OMY for the movie premiere once again!
