Korea Day 2

19122010
Our plan is to come here & get lost in the city.
Meaning, we have no plans on what to do & where to go!
Sound very exciting right?

All ready for touring the city!
I'm a follower!
Isn't it cute? Look like a play house!

Getting lost, again! Must as well pose and take a nice pic?
---
1st "Korean" lunch!

My camera is still lost in my house...
I'm starting to like his camera already. Aint' the colors nice?

Monkey see, monkey do...
Obviously we can't read Korean, so we just ordered whatever we see others eating!

A cup of hot coffee after lunch is comforting!

This rabbit cinnamon pancake is SOOOO delicious!
---
Visiting one of the heritage spots...

Entrance to the building
We are heading towards the emperor's Secret Garden...

It's a 10min walk before reaching another booth to buy another ticket to one of the wings!

Me me me!

All the colourful and beautiful leaves/ flowers have fallen off due to winter. Perhaps we should be back & check out how's it like during spring? The tour guide showed us photos of the palace during different seasons, they look impressive!

Commoner's house in the grand palace

They have many such "tents" within the palace...

Looks like autumn, no?

I saw leftover snow!!!

The waters are frozen...

90min foot tour can be tiring with all the thick layers!

My sweet looking tour guide who can speak pretty good English!

Insa-Dong

Welcome to Korea!
Can Mediacorp hire me as a host to fly around the world & present all the interesting stuff to TV viewers? I promise to do a super good job! Hahahahhaa...

Fooling around on the streets.
I love travelling cos' no one knows me & I can act silly + no one cares!

Resting at one of the traditional tea house.
TT wants to try the traditional "doc" & then decide if he wants to buy some home as gift...

I had plum tea (sweet) and TT had some mushroom tea. Initially I though it will be bitter & super weird. On the contrary, it tasted better then mine. We preferred each other's order, so we exchange! Yeah..

Dinner @ Airang

Halfway through the yummy BBQ dinner + rice wine.
I was alittle upset cos there weren't any soup option at the place.
I was getting sick of meats already. I WANT SOUP....! =(
.
.
.
Face getting red but I can still drink alot more! I love the wine!
( I think I had more then half the pot?)
TT was amazed on how much I can drink! The waitress stop us from drinking the wine with empty stomach & insist that we must at least drink up the pumpkin porridge before tasting the rice wine. I have to admit I was quite tipsy at the end of the dinner.

Greedy face...

Don't drool yet...

On the way back to hotel, we saw snow flakes! I was jumping around cos' I thought I was lucky tonight. Later on then we realised, it was fake! Hahahha... There was a small "party" in the middle of the road with snow making machine... Oh well, tho. it wasn't real snow, the sight was beautiful anyways!

Hi Santa, are you going to give me a big present for Christmas this year?
