Here's what happened last evening & a reminder to those who still have packages with them or am considering to go there to do ya nails services, DON'T! After blogging here, I'm going to call CASE to complain that they don't have business ethnics if actions weren't taken after my complain!
- I told the manicurists (3 of them at different time) that I wanted to do the spa pedicure treatment. Reason that I had to repeat myself again & again cos' they weren't in the shop. LATE for my appointment when I'm the ONLY customer.
- ALL of them recommended me the monthly promotion. Original price is $88 before GST. On the promotion list it stated $70 before GST (10% off for package holder).
- I was 100% sure that the manicurist (attending to me) told me that I'm ONLY entitled to 5% discount off the original price @ $88 if I take the monthly promotion when I deduct services used from my package. Plus, if I pay by Citibank credit card, I get a bottle of OPI nail polish free.
- 2nd sales staff came over quickly when I was deciding if I want the choose the promotion. Then explained, IF I pay cash instead of deducting credits from my package, I actually will pay less.
- All in all, if you just do the simple math in ya mind ( I didn't really use the calculator to check & no one offered to tally & show me) if I pay again, instead of deducting from my package, I'm paying less + I get a good gift, why not right? So I accepted the sales talk & went ahead with the whole spa thing. Honestly, I had already felt very pressurised cos' everything that I'm doing need to top up this & that. The spa treatment only scrubs ya feet, so I had to add another 25bucks so that they will scrub up to my knees. So, I told them if that's the case, the spa treatment I will pay upfront & the additional top up just deduct from my exisiting package.
- Towards the end of my spa treatment, the 2nd sales staff came to me to collect money. This time round, she came with a calculator. So, 70 + 7% GST = $74.90 I told her I'm paying by Citibank credit card so I get the nail polish. She said yup, please choose a color. After I signed every sheet of receipts she MIA behind the counter. She was perpetually out of sight.
- 5-10minutes later, when applying my last layer of top coat & waiting for my nail color to dry so I get get out of the place, I told the manicurist attending me that can I choose my color now? She looked surprised.
Here are all the excuses she bombard me with...
(A) I'm sorry that you don't get the nail polish after enjoying the discount.
As a consumer, why am I not informed in the 1st place that I get to choose I want a discount or nail polish?
Do I look like I don't understand mandarin & I'm silly or deaf or what? If yes why another manicurist ask me to choose a color too? Or why mention nail polish in the 1st place? If you don't know your products or promotion, don't mislead your customers!
(C) She insisted that now I can't get the gift, and the other sale staff refused to acknowledged what she promised me.
I got really furious. Especially when both of them refused to admit who's at fault now. Am I not sure of what I heard or they just tried to cheat me by confusing me with how much is the total amount, what do I enjoy and what not?
Let me show you the tabulation after I have calculated to prove that it's NOT worth it to PAY for packages with them.
- If I pay cash that will be $70 + 7%GST= $74.90
- If I deduct from package will be ($88 -5% - 10%) + 7%GST= $80.5068
They realised that I was way beyond accepting any apologies that they made a mistake promising the wrong information to me, & then tried to shut me up with a stuff toy with a small bottle of whatsoever. I was firm to say I don't want. Later on they had no choice but to offer me a nail polish of my choice and kept repeated that they really can't & were not supposed to do offer me. I got even angrier. They make a silly mistake, & expect me to be understanding on how diffcult it will be to give me a bottle of nail polish? Oh please. I don't care about the nail polish AT ALL. I don't even apply my own. I'm upset cos' they tried to "smoke" me & wanted to get away with it when I discover the mistake!
Tell me why package holder don't enjoy any benefits yet had to pay more? The package system allows customers to do any services at a discount. Each time we do something, we just deduct off our balance credits, & as promised we get a certain % of discount depending how much we paid. The more lump sum you pay, the higher % is your discount. I get even more pissed after knowing that package holder is not taken care of. This monthly promotion benefit new walk in customer, and not protecting regular customer. Is this how the way the company work? I asked the sale girl. She just replied I'm sorry there's nothing I can do cos' the promotion is done by the management. I pushed further, then why are the fees and charges not listed clearly on the promotion list. She continued saying it's the management decision.
I was utterly disappointed with their bad attitude and service. I asked them to tabulate the balance credits that I have with the company. I told them straight on the face that I will NEVER go back to the shop and I'm expecting a full refund of the unused amount in my package. I walked out without applying quick dry and a "unclaimed gift". They promised to get the manager to call me back by today. THEY BETTER DO!
*I just can't believe that I had to pay money & get so much rubbish. What a way to end my day. JUST DON'T VISIT THAT STORE, EVER!!! I don't want my readers to be cheated, too!
