For once it works!

Frustrations beyond words when it comes to calling customer care service hotlines? Be it credit card or service provider, etc? You are not alone! I get that all the time & somehow I can share which bank or mobile network service has the best service attitude and prompt. (But I can't say it out loud here, just in case I gets sued!) I super duper hate automated hotline help cos' they f-king just cost me time waiting & almost nothing gets done!

Anyways, my blackberry can't deliver emails/ bbm out since 8pm last night. I panicked! I have to start sms-ing all the important people immediately! I thought it was just a temporary network breakdown or whatever shit (cos' my phone is only 6mths old, can't be faulty right?) so I leave it to "recover" itself after I took out the battery for a few minutes.

Apparently electronic devices (even if it's smart phones) aren't that smart. It has no special power to recover/ restore to "normal". I called my service provider to seek for assistance. The guy asked me to take out my battery for 5 minutes before putting battery back again, it should work. Else, I can call back and escalate my case to BB support. Obviously it doesn't work right? Haha. I called in again & got a super nice/ helpful guy, Ethan to guide me along.

Try these if you have similar problems like mine!
~User guide to smart phones dummies~
BB 9700:
  1. Take out ya batter for 5 minutes before letting ya BB reboot itself.
  2. Go to "Manage Connections"- choose mobile network options- network mode (change to 2G).
To test if you can receive/send messages or email, Go to "Options"- advanced options- host routing table, click select button, choose register now.
  3. Afterwhich, go back to Manage Connections"- choose mobile network options- network mode (change to 3G & 2G).
Check your main screen for 3G, Wi-fi & BB logo on top right hand corner.
If not, Go to "Manage Connections"- check mobile network & wi-fi.

If all these steps still don't work, then call back ya service provider again!

Iphone 3Gs:

I kept losing network locally, & 100% NO network overseas. It gets really irritating and handicap for anyone! If you can't get me on my personal line, you know why not. Christalle didn't MIA, but uncontactable. So, start adding me on my business line. We can chat on BBM for free! Hahaha. I also have Whatsapp! Anyways, back to main topic. The support lady who answer my call on Iphone wasn't that friendly & helpful. I forgot to take her name to complain. Ops! So if you experience the same thing, no network. Test for the follow.

  1. Take out ya SIM card from Iphone & try on another phone to see if your card is faulty. If yes, just head down to ya nearest shop to get it replaced.
If SIM card is working, means your phone is spoilt. Time to get Iphone 4. Haha!
I wonder why she never say it's the network's fault? Maybe the provider is weak?
  2. Reset the phone to default setting.

If all fails, call back the service provider to kbkp.

I've got very good service for my readers hor?
