London Day 6

181209
Going on road trip!

We bought our Big Bus Company tickets from the hotel
& followed the directions given by the bell boy...
While finding our destination we pass by Topshop, Miss Selfridge, etc etc.
They are huge! I can't stop myself from walking into the store...
So B did some shopping too.
He was glad that at least the labels has men's department, too!

It's going to be a long ride so we thought of getting some burgers & fries to munch on the bus.
I think i decided it's gonna be too messy so we ate there.
We were still very very full from the breakfast buffet tho.!
I had my favourite! Quarter pounder! Why no more in SG?!

We were asked to take ear piece when we board the bus.
There's a plug infront of us where we can plug in our earpiece
& listen to the broadcast of places of interest, some history & where to shop...

There's no seat on 1st decker & we thought sitting at upper deck has a better view anyways...

I can't remember where is what... =X

Or even the names...

Anyways, a picture speaks a thousand words yeah?

Isn't the architecture amazing?

After half an hour ride, all the buildings kinda look the same...

There are so many buildings I wanna explore but time's so limited!
By the way, the ticket for Big Bus Company valids for 2 days.
So visitors can hop in & out of the bus for 48 hours...

After an hour, we realised why no one wants to sit at upper deck.
I was frozen beyond words!
The strong cold winds is unbelievable!

I was told I'm very lucky if I get to see Sun in London.
I am!!!

I can barely move & tolerate the winds so we alighted from the bus &
try to get some warm from hot soups & heater in shopping malls.

We wander around abit & spotted a flea market!

Next on place of interest is eating aromatic cripsy duck at Chinatown...
The dish was suggested by a Londoner. He says it's very nice!
Really?

The Hong Konger staff wasn't very friendly at all,
they don't bother whether we are Asian or Europeans whatsoever.
We asked for recommendation & all they gave was a 1 or 2 word answer.
So boring! *Yawns*
The ducks are way better!!!!
Anyways, I was glad to have chilli after SOOOOO long!

After pigging out, when we are really not hungry, again.
We were told by a friendly lady waitress (finally),
that there's nothing much in Chinatown besides food,
we should walk down Oxford Street for shopping.

B remember he saw Burberry's boutique earlier on when we were on bus.
So we tried locating it by foot.
When we can't, we hop onto a cab hoping he knows where is it.
But, instead of bringing us to the boutique in Regional Road,
he sent us to the flagship store opposite Harrods!

After some shopping & damage done to our wallets,
we ventured back to our hotel to freshen up for some dinner & music with Sha!

I'm so excited to go out!
We also spotted this chain of steak house when touring London today,
so we thought it must be good.
Here we are...
lining up our stomach before some alcohol later!

It's nice to meet my girlfriend overseas!
& let her play tour guide~!

@ Sound.
While waiting in the Q, a guy infront of us made this comment,
"Hey friend, you guys should go (pointing at another direction) there instead. This place is not for people like you."
I was shocked to be treated like an outcast....
We decided to check out the underground club anyhow...
Oh well, I think we got cheated by one of the bouncers.
They are really very racist & kinda mean to tourist!
They let us in & took our cash for entrance & push us up to the stairs.
We weren't issued any stamps or ticket to exchange for drinks.
The worst part? We don't even had a place to put our coats away.
I was so damn pissed actually.
So, next time we have tourist in SG, let's be real nice to them ok?!
