DISNEY DIGITAL 3D™ SPECIAL PREVIEW SCREENING OF
“A CHRISTMAS CAROL”
MONDAY, 9th November 2009
GOLDEN VILLAGE, MARINA SQUARE
7:00PM , Hall 6

It was a very cold day with thunderstorms throughout the day.
The weather itself made me feel very "Christmas-sy".
Chilly, wet (a lil' humid tho.) + all the Christmas decorations along Orchard Road...
All I wanted was a cup of warm chocolate (or gloves) in my hands.
Make sure to put an extra jacket & foldable umbrella into ya bags for these 2 months!
.
.
.
Last year this period I just came back from my 2 weeks Shanghai vacation. I have travelled yet another year & it's my favourite time of the year, again!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed (praying very hard) as I might be tagging my DD to Geneva-London (if he get send there for business) next month. I'll explore the cities while he work. Haha! I's so getting a chance to experience white Christmas afterall!!!
---
I knew GV never start screenings on time- they show around 15min of trailers.
I went shopping while waiting for the screening time since there wasn't any interviews going on before the show. I was asked to go back to the collection booth after the movie but
I was just too frozen & hungry to do an proper interview.
Ops, Sorry!
---
As it's a special screening in 3D, we get our plastic glasses at the door. I was very excited to view the movie with special effects!
I'm no expert with animation & special effects but I felt like a little kid watching the film.
With the glasses provided, everything looks so real.
When it was snowing, I can "see" the snow falling on my lap & I tried to"catch" the snow. At certain point, It almost felt like an heavy object will "fly" out of the scrren & hit my face.
I know it sounded ridiculous but you guys should watch it for yourselves!
---
It wasn't free seating for this show & I was placed on row F.
I thought I was too near to the big screen.
The content itself was predictable cos' I'm sure most of us are well equipped with the story line already. The whole experience was very interesting as we don't get to see movie with 3D effects all the time.
I will give the movie 3.5-4 out of 5 popcorns. I had to deduct 0.5-1 popcorn because wearing the glasses + the short distance from the screen gave me migrain & I felt kinda giddy by the end of the show.
So, do make sure you choose the furthest seats possible while enjoying the movie alright?
Nothing is as unique as experiencing the whole thing yourself.
Enough said. Go watch it!

For more, check out the movie site!

As always, I love the surprise (goodie bags) that the event organisers (Omy) provides.
The caramel popcorns was super delicious!!!
I finished a pack with DD + a bottle of green tea
+ all the other snacks we brought in the hall before taking a photo...
I hope to get the chance to watch more movies if time & date allows.
So, choose me! Me Me Me! Hahaha!!!

Hohoho...
