Took a few hours off from work to attend this
vintage 2000 Bordeaux horizontal wine tasting...

We had 8 different type of wines to try,
& 5 influencial critic/speaker/journalist/publisher, etc
to give their personal view on each of them.

Prior to the event, I was introduced to Ch'ng Poh Tiong.
He was a pretty good MC, I enjoy listening to his speech.
After the tasting session,
I quickly get hold of Andrew Caillard (important guy from Langton's),
to ask for a photograph.
LOL...!

Satisfying my vanity...

After I told him my job & everything,
+ I'm keen to learn more about Aussie wines,
he took out 2 booklets as gifts for me...

I should have asked him if there's any changes to Langton's Classification.
What a dumb ass!

I can't recall what was I laughing about...
Anyways, we met at Wine for Asian on Thurs
when I was sent down to Suntec to check out a wine talk.
I was surprised that he actually remembered me!
It's such a pity that I didn't get to taste any wines this year.
Especially since this time round I'm there as a trade member!
That means I don't have to squeeze with the public...!!!
---
I got 2 dozen of wines during WFA for my 21st birthday.
Everyone loved the wines that I picked,
everything was gone on X'mas party before my 21st.
I was hopping to taste more Pinot Noir this time from other wine making regions.
It's just too bad that my Asience TVC shoot got changed to Friday
when I'm supposed to attend Alsace wine seminar & tasting afterwhich with my company.
Nevermind then...
I'll look forward for wine convention @ HK next year!
