While the boys gets all sweaty & smelly, I was dropped off at Parkway Parade for my mani + pedi session. I just lurvveeee getting my nails nicely done!

Btw Novo is having sales, buy a pair of shoes & get another pair free. Just pay for the pair which cost more. I didn't realise the sale till the cashier asked me to choose my bonus pair of heels.

I grabbed 4 pairs of shoes + a pair for sandals @ one go while waiting for B to pick me after soccer.

Frustrating Friday

Jerry's, Club Street I started with a bad morning...

I ended up taking bus/train to work after changing a set of clothes.

I couldn't get any cab before 9.45am, even after waiting for more than 40min. It was so hot & humid that my makeup melted under the sun.

It's lunch time & I don't feel like talking to anyone or stay in the office to listen to noises. I took a 5min walk to the nearest restuarant where I can have some quiet time, alone...

The executive set lunch looks afforable.
2 course meal with coffee/tea/ice cream.

Total damage lunch was about 25bucks.
I would pay that amount anytime, for a good meal & some time out.
Because I deserve it!

I headed to Peninsula Shopping Centre after work to do some birthday gift shopping for B. Tommy recommeded me to Weston Corperation for football jersey. I got B the latest Chelsea jersey & have his favourite footballer's name + badges printed on the tee.

5min minutes more before I present him his surprise gift!

After getting his big day pressie, I dropped by Granny's Day Out for some retail therapy. I felt so shitty at work this week & emotionally imbalanced. My intention there was to get a dress so I can change out for Dar's party later. The lady owner kept asking me to try different dresses. I love almost all the numbers that she has selected out for me. I ended up splurging almost 600bucks on 4 dresses and some accesories! That's soooooo sinful... HahahahHaha...
I can't wait to get the altered dresses next week. Meanwhile I have to get petticoats for the new dresses... I love vintage stuff!
Got to go...! It's almost midnight!

Gallery Hotel

I took Fabian's car home @ 5.30pm sharp to pack my overnight bag the moment all of us agreed on watching the game together.

I grabbed the chance to check in the hotel early so to have some "me" time (sometimes I missed being single & super carefree...).

No one is going to come in early due to personal commitment or wanna take a nap at home prior to the match (lucky me!).

I decided to be there to enjoy my bubble bath & solitude for a couple of hours...

I was a little disappointed with the room cos' I had expected it to be more spacious.
I'm used to staying in more comfortable rooms.
Mom & B have way over pampered me with 5-6stars hotels already.
Then again, let's be contented, can't expect Boss to spend so much right?
Nevertheless, I'm thankful for the fun =)

We can view the silhouette of whoever is bathing from our bed.
Hahaha...

Big square & small square entertained me while I wait for my hair to dry...

My eyelids were literally dropping by itself for the whole day @ work.

I didn't have dinner before I left the house.
I took a glance on the room service menu & none of the listed caught my attention.
The mini bar didn't have anything I like too...
So I went to bed with a growling empty stomach.
Thank God for the Aaron for getting minced meat noodles for me.

The rest of the company arrived after 12am.
Miko was the latest to arrive (3+-4am?) as she came from Zouk, and also the 1st to fall asleep.
It was such a pity that she missed out the fun.
We have super Barcelona + Man U + confused fans in the room.
It was really hilarious watching their exxtreme reaction throughout the game!
Man U. fans are so not humble & noisy....

It's Tuesday.
One of the night that the boys will gather.
I was invited a few times but somehow I can't make it.
Today happened to be red wine night, I think they rotate different type of alcohol each other they meet up.

The homecook dishes are fabulous!

I tried hinting Sam's Mom to teach me, she just smile shyly & diverted the topic.

Looks like I have to try very hard to make sure she pass some secret recipes to me...

Able to cook more decent dishes that B loves will shut his picky mouth.

More different food was being served & so did the red wines.

I was so busy eating, drinking & talking...

I decided to give a pass to the photos since I'm here on a mission.

Each of us contributed a bottle or 2 of reds/whites that night.

We had a good mixture of new world wines that evening...

It was my 1st time there...

I finished 3/4 large popcorn by myself watching the movie,

The worst was today's dinner is all the delicious local dishes!!!

Office

After 1.5days of MC + rest, I'm still not well.

I went back to office in the afternoon to check my emails & make some phone calls.

I literally wasted all my lunch/ coffee into the toilet bowl.

Aaron asked me to go home, so I won't spread whatever viruses to him...

He also told Boss I'll be needing my maternity leave soon.

What the heck!

I need to accompany Dar to his friend's birthday chalet later...

Instead of gg shopping for a gift,

I told him I'll buy French reds from my office.
At the same time, I was tasting the the dessert wine (see above).

It's quite nice, too!

I'm consolidating orders for the wine.

The Arena

Our 1st choice was Double O actually.

The guys can play pool when the ladies go shake some boodies at the dance floor, or all of us can chill out listening to the live band.
We ended up here cos' we found out that Friday was DBL O's anniversary party (Free entry + drinks from 9-11pm!).

There's no way we can squeeze in when most of us won't reach by 10ish.

A couple of us went to check out Fireflies since none has been there before.

Andrew & I don't even wanna step into the place, after observing the crowd walking in.

The younger ones walks in with tees & shirts, like they are from the chalet I was at earlier!

The guys.. OMG... I don't even know how to describe, please!

So, I gave a CMI face, & get the rest to make their ways down to Clarke Quay.

I also suggested PowerHouse cos' Angie is there,

but the boys don't like the atmospher...

Anyways, as long as it's either one of the clubs at CQ or St James,

I don't care. Heehee...

We don't know why/how, I became the only girl in the group.

I doubt they treat me as a girl anyhow...

I kept losing at the silly dice game!
My face got so red within less than 2 hours!!!

The live band is still very entertaining.
I always enjoyed the music at the club.
The crowd has changed tho.
A little more...

I shall not comment.
It's still a worth going to nightspot.
I somewhat enjoy myself more here as compared to the "new" hotspot.
You know what I'm talking about...
Word of advice.
Don't go to that "new" spot on Wednesdays.
It's full of rude & smelly kids.
