To be honest, I wasn't 100% sure what the interviewer was asking over the phone when she called me at 11am last Monday. She did try to ease my confusion by asking many specific questions but only 1 comment was posted on the final draft. And true enough, I don't think I'm affected with the law that might commence anyways.

After reading her article, I presume the article was asking if we bloggers should be careful on what we say on our blogs (what about freedom of speech & writing on personal cyber space?) & also, to give proper credits if asked to write an review for public awareness? That is, of cos' (in my view) all real critics should be paid, unless it's not a formal thing on their own accord... If not, why are there critics (as a profession) in different industry? The more well know & respected the critic is, the more their words weigh. A simple comment may/do change how the world thinks... ***I will want to be a food or wine or even fashion critic sometime***

Someone shared with me that a blogger was asked to had her entry removed after giving negative opinion dining in a particular restuarant. I don't encourage people to say nasty stuff, unless needed. But then again, its her own blog & her own view, what's wrong with commeting? Many of us talks about what we eat & do daily. It's becoming common anyhow. Maybe the food, hygiene or service were truly aweful? I really don't know if she's responsible/ guilty for slander. Anyways, it's not my business.

Many a times, I was approached & requested to put online blogshop links permanently on the side bars of my blog & I have refused a dozen even tho. they are willing to pay me a sum of money as premium. Like I have mentioned, I don't want to commercialise my blog just yet. I didn't take a single cent from the stores which I talked about in my earlier posts. In return of the favour, I get to pick a few items as a token of appreciation for going the extra mile for photos with me wearing them besides adding a liner to their merchandise. If I didn't like their stuff, I will still reject the invitation.

With my marketing major & also experiences in commercial modelling, I realises that in successful marketing, users/ bloggers/ models/ ambassador, etc should really feel for the product that they are advertising or talk about. Isn't it more convincing to the public when they say/act from the bottom of their hearts? How can I go around donning super fair complexion & claimed I have been visiting this wonderful tanning salon? Chances are, if we are paid to be the "walking" advertisement, somehow or rather we have to project the way the client wants. Least to feel obligated when $$$ is involved...

I can go on with this topic as a thesis & publish a "book" on this post, but I just wanna summarize everything... I feel that using famous bloggers (or my case, I just happened to be blessed with really royal & supportive readers) for advertising do work, regardless what bloggers say. True or false doesn't really matters. Unless for example, stores wanna mislead/cheat on purpose! Now you know why I love shopping online- even for luxury items. They look good & are known to be of good quality, even with all the camera tricks and blah... I still buy nevertheless! Same for online fashion stores. If you want loyal & returning customers, do gain our (as consumer) trust! Don't show only pretty & flawless photos, cos' we won't go back to you! You know it... Don't blame on someone entirely just because he/she made a 1 time complain/review/whichever on how lousy the materials are in their blogs.

Bloggers should be free from whatever they want to express! We are real & put our identity, reputation & open secrets out. Least we don't hide ourselves like anonymous cyber bullies! Why no one spend additional time tracking, stopping & punishing these people for sending threats & insults instead? If we criticising stores out loud is a crime, who should define the whereabouts of justice for destructive criticism towards bloggers? You tell me!!!
