1stly thanks for ya compliment sweetie, I'm more than happy to be able to share...
Every girl is beautiful in God's eyes.
Don't be upset if you don't look like models on the runway/ magazines.
They aren't perfect, but made perferct by photoshop.
Welcome to human club!
Just don't be lazy in dressing up & present the best of you.
Try waking up smile with a smile & tell the person in the mirror good morning.
How you feel/think will directly affect how you look for the day.
If you ever wake up on the wrong side of the bed,
just put in a little more effort than usual in beautifying yaself...
Don't feel lousy, cos' it ain't helping in anyways.
As many of us would know..
Having a good complexion is essential.
We don't need alot of makeup to look beautiful.
Real beauty exudes from within.
I always wished for perfect, flawless skin & I'll never apply paint on my face if even a choice.
Still, no one is perfect & I'm not blessed with such beauty.
Living in tropical countries ain't helping.
+ all the external factors such as stress, smoke, sun, etc...
I have outbreaks every now & then.
When they are out of my control, I go to a derm. for help.
I used to go facials, spends lots money over all the beauty counters.
Trust me, seeing a skin doctor is so much worth it since the treatment costs the same.
Most importantly, I see results.
I've been with my derm. for coming 7yrs but I haven't really been dilligent in the skincare steps.
Haha!
Moral story:
Drink lotsa plain water, & avoid direct sun if possible.
*Food has no proven direct links to skin outbreaks.
Some Reco (Tried & tested):
1. For blemish prone skin: Body shop tea tree range
2. Normal skin: Simple
3. Biotherm - Aqua source range
Like canvas to painters.
A good foundation is the key to achieve that barbie doll face.
Always use a lip balm, eye cream to protect ya vulnerable layer of skin!!
Always apply a SPF makeup base and/ or moisturiser prior to makeup.
Don't use sunblock if you have oily skin, it causes pimples.
I have ultra sensitive skin therefore I usually uses concealer & loose powder only.
If you wanna hide flows like pimples & freckles, stick to water base liquid foundation.
Some pple likes to use brush and/or sponge to even out the foundation.
I prefer using finger tips (it help to save on the makeup w/o tools absorbing it).
Use the makeup tools if you aren't sure how to apply.
Less is more, you can always reapply/ touch up later on.
DO NOT paint a mask over ya face.
DO NOT use the wrong shade!
Get help if you need to, pleasseee...!
Some product reco (I swear by them!):
1. Clinque LF -superfit range/ super-moisture makeup
2. Lancome pressed powder
3. Shu Uemura's / Benefit's cream concealer
Ask around & see which is ya best asset.
Obviously I don't have the glowing skin I used to have.
I would think my eyes are the most attractive part of my face.
Naturally I'll pay more attention to it.
I can don't wear any colors on my face but I'll still want to curl my lashes & give it a few coat of mascara.
It will instantly brighten up my overall look & I feel pretty with my big brown eyes.
If you have the time & skills...
Have ya eyes nicely lined & colored.
Please also fill up ya brows if needed unless you wanna step out of ya hse looking like geisha...
Reco:
1. Eye liner- Lancome Artliner/ kohl
2. Mac cream (take a steady hand to apply/ can be difficult initially)
3. Makeup store pencils- for vivid colors!

I never really realised how cheek colors can play a big part in contouring my face.
When pink is applied around the high cheekbones, I'll look younger & sweet.
If I apply bronzer on the cheekbones, it gives a more tan/ sporty look.
If brown is applied nearer to my hair line, it slims my face.
You can try Benefit's lips/cheek tint for more natural, sun kissed look.
Reco (sorry this I'm bias, it's exp bt they are lasting...) :1. Shu Uemura ONLY.---I don't have reco. for lips cos' I only like nude color.
The most I'll use tinted lip glosses. Try buying lip/ eye shadow colors in palettes.
In a way you have more choice & can save money.
Makeup is a hard topic to blog about cos' there are soooooo much to share.
Let me know if you have a more specific area of concern.
Till then...
xoxo
