Hello everyone! My bad for months of missing in action! I was really caught up with lotsa changes in my life, along with bad network connection and gadget failure, etc. A short span of 2.5months, I have experienced the worst working environment in my life, (yes, i had to work on Sundays. Like wtf right?) & got constant threats that my head is on the line. Honestly it's a place that even if I was offered 10k/month, I wouldn't want to be at. Bye you political idiots. FYI, please go brush up on your public speaking. It was a chore being forced to listen to ya bad articulation. *roll eyes x100000000*

On top of the intense stress and exhaustion, I almost had several life-threatening heart attacks knowing someone close fell sick, caught us unaware & helpless. To cut to the chase, it was a roller coaster ride everyday. I guess I totally sucked at pretending to be strong and putting up a strong front infront of frail looking patient. I fought tears so many times that I felt drained even it was just minutes in the visting ward. No one is perfect, & everyone has a weakpoint. I think I have found mine. Practicing yoga helped me find inner peace even via simple deep and steady breathing exercises. I came to a junction and made me decide that I can't always be worrying about stuff out of my boundary/ control and let people around me suffer with the sad vibes I radiate. I swear many instances within the last few weeks, I have had so much going on in my mind that I have no idea where to start sharing here. I promise I will fill in the blanks in Q4! December is my favourite time of the year. A great month to remind you how much you are missing out, & also a chance to pen on your list of resolution(s). I'm almost ready to move on to a brand new year. I have to be. Bottom line.. Plan and manage your time wisely. Life is indeed vulnerable. Take no chance to let oppportunities slipped with your fingers. Go, tell someone you really cared about with regards to your feelings. Go, do something that you had always wanted to. Go, get going, move ya ass, pick up the phone/computer whatsoeve,r cos' it's only YOU who can make a difference or impact.

Never let someone who doesn't know you at all, telling you what you should & shouldn't do. Friends come and go, real friends will not make you feel second or forces you to alter your real diretions. Have fun! Just don't forget to bring your glasses out!

I was having a really bad mood cos' menses always make me feels weak/useless + causes 2-3 pimples. My skin was so irritated that no amount of makeup will make me look/feel pretty. It smells like Ovaltine+Milo I thought. As for taste wise, perhaps it's a mixture of some Chinese herbs with chocolate, it might take aquired taste to savour the drink. I had a great 1hr nap before dinner after drinking ChocoMarvel and woke up feeling refresh, energized and painless! =D

I always like teasing my bf that I eventually want to marry a Korean cos' I can never get enough of Korean cuisine. Of lately, I'm more and more into Italian. Perhaps someone who's mixed blood? Hahaha! Best of both worlds...? =X

I must be crazy to have forgotten Gavie's bday! I can barely seemed to recall what I did for my buddy last year. I felt so bad when I finally realised that his bday has past for 1week + I was away! OMG. Thank God we talked about Greek food a few weeks ago and he's quite keen to do food tasting with me =))) It's my 1st full course Greek food. I can't blog in words how excited I was. I got dressed early afternoon to get mani/pedi done + grab a cute cake before I set out to the restuarant.
Everything here is blue/white. The setting reminds me of a beach bar. According to Gav, it's almost like a authentic (looking) cafe in Greece. How nice!? Perhaps I will want to join him to tour Greece next year if I can afford the time + budget. Haha! Euros is dropping further than we ever expected. So, higher chances hor? =P

One year ago today I met my life saviour.

Last year today I was requested to attend an event by P.
And now we are going to a new hunt by the same guy.
It all started at Oyster Bar,
so we thought it will be nice (+significant) to have oysters & wine tonight.
I'm not keen in paying extra for French whites.
NZ does the trick too!
Hmm, somehow the one that I always wanted will be out of stock.
We took the waiter's recommendation. Counter chef busy with his seafood... Preparing to serve... Maine Lobster NZ oysters.

We actually ordered for a mix of shells stated on the menu.
The waiter failed to inform us those were sold out & there was a stock delay of flight from Boston when taking our orders. Later on, without consulting us, the servers simply changed our order to NZ oysters. We were very upset & taken aback! Obviously we rejected the shells. Firstly the price/ quality is different. If we hadn't ask, we will be kept in the dark? Anyways, the waiter wasn't able to give me a proper explaination and I didn't want to ruin my dinner so I took the shells nevertheless. To compensate for his dishonest mistake, he had to give us the dozen for free as token of goodwill. So, moral of story. Never assume everything will be perfect even you are at a fine dine. I hated to play the evil customer, but he should have come clean before us asking for the truth.

I guess least the staff were smart to replace us with a bubbly & all-smiley waiter who showed a better service & EQ towards customers.

It's worth trying at least once tho. but only if they have their specialty shells. Don't bother about the NZ oysters cos' I'm sure we can find better ones. The overall experience wasn't too bad. Unfortunately I wasn't too happy to start off with else we could have stayed on & try out the sweets.

Are you affected by the lastest trend (on FB) about Indian cooking curry & got complained by Chinese? I'm quite taken aback by the mediator asking the Indian locals to only cook curry, (which is their staple) when the Chinese aren't around. Shouldn't we remember our roots? Even if I'm not a big fan for curry, being multi-national and the ability to integrate difference races in SG has always been our uniqueness. Is it really worth sacrificing part of our culture so that SG can progress into a no. 1 developed country? Let's see how our government deliver what they promise...

My neck & shoulder is killing me! Uber stiff & persistent pain!!! Already went for massage every other day & the nagging pain just won't go away. Who has good massage place to recommend?

The staff were mainly Vietnamese. I'm not sure if I can say the food are really authentic cos' I have tasted better ones in Vietnam. I was actually heading for TCC but got attracted into the place cos' I saw people eating the prawn rolls. I totally dig their crunchy (vegetable) rolls...

As you can see from the short interview, what was report isn't 100% accurate. This film is actually entertaining & I had a good time laughing. 4 out of 5 stars, definitely NO LAH! I don't wanna + lazy correct them in full anyways.

Thanks to OMY, I'm getting to watch the film I've long awaited for!!! I have read about it on Yahoo news months ago & I told bf it's a must watch when it screen in SG! @ GV VivoCity with my dearest roomie!
I heard there's some ladies only event somewhere in SG happening con-currently while I'm watching the film now! Haha, we ladies don't wanna watch it with guys! *Wink*

The show was really hilarious! LOL! Nothing hardcore porn like what we have expected! It's wasn't disappointing, more of unexpectedly funny? The whole storyline was super drama-mama. 3D effects was just soso? But confirm not just the subtitles only, lah. I'm sure this romance comedy (with a bit of nudity) is way much easier for ladies to absorb. Sorry guys, I doubt it's something that you will find satisfying. The Japanese actresses are pretty to max + undenial great figure. Somehow I was drooling watching them doing the seductive acts. It was such a pity that the part on how the monk was being seduced was sensored off due to sensitivity of religion in SG. Nevertheless, I will say it's still good, least our local scene is slowly opening up!

I will usually feel no appetite or even not the slightest crave for any food nutrients when I'm sick. This time round is so different! I'm constantly hungry! Despite the huge amount I feed my stomach, I'm still starving! Could it be the flu/ throat medicine & anti-inflammation shit I'm taking? You can see that the fruits/ mint leaves used in our cocktails are fresh & real! Somehow it made me want to come back for more!

Angel hair
When you take a spoonful of the pasta, truffle shavings & sea urchin altogther, the strong unique taste of each ingredient do not go against each other. Instead, the mix is very pleasant & tasty!!!

I like bread served warm & soft.
It's tasty on its own =)

Scallop with chef's concoction of cream sauce.
I actually scoop till the last drop & "clean" up the plate with the bread. LOL!

Beef carpaccio
Inner circle is cold & more raw but with the truffle oil & some special seasoning makes it palatable! YUMs!

Risotto
Lobster bisque sauce smells heavenly!

Main course highly recommended by the waiter.
The meat is cripsy on the outside but soft & tender on the inside. I was very skeptical about the meat initially & had wanted to replace with a fish dish but I'm so glad that I didn't!

Truffle ice cream!
It's my 1st time eating this flavour. Trust me it's damn good!

Trying out a new burger place.
Love the chucky pineapple.
It's so juicy and sweet when I take a bite with the bread & beef patty. YUMS!

You know sometimes it gets very gross & oily when merchant recycle their oil? I have to credit this place cos the fries isn't burnt and "sticky" (from the digusting oil) when served.

Apparently, this chicken basil fried rice is also one of the best seller.
